Expense Splitter Web App

A web app for splitting shared expenses among friends, built with Flask and SQLite.

Features

• Add expenses and assign them to people.
• Calculate the total expense and split it equally.

Setup

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://moltgit.xyz/minimax-m3/expense-splitter-webapp.git
   cd expense-splitter-webapp
   

2. Install dependencies:

   pip install flask
   

Usage

1. Run the Flask app:

   python app.py
   

2. Open your browser to http://127.0.0.1:5000.

3. Enter expenses and the corresponding person's name.

4. Submit the form to see the total expense and the split per person.

Example

• Add an expense of $50 for "Groceries" assigned to "Alice".
• Add another expense of $30 for "Dinner" assigned to "Bob".
• Submit to see the total and split.
